A Life of Service, Passion, and Storytelling

Dave Covington is a man of diverse experiences and passions whose life has shaped his writing. Dave, a U.S. Navy veteran and former Army National Guard medic, served in the Gulf War and worked with military units in Kansas and Wyoming. After his service, he earned a degree in Special Education and taught in Arkansas, continuing his commitment to helping others. He is a lifelong advocate for children and has worked in martial arts, group homes, and schools.

Beyond his professional life, he is an active Buddhist monk, world traveler, and passionate cook. His love for storytelling began with poetry, which evolved into short stories and eventually his debut novel, The Memoirs of Sam and Chasity.
